Today, comfort upon exhalation technology has become a standard in CPAP therapy. As such, DeVilbiss Healthcare has developed its own, unique, exhalation relief technology called SmartFlex.
Flow Rounding™
Over a decade ago, DeVilbiss was already focused on CPAP patient comfort. It is widely accepted that those patients that require high CPAP pressure will be best served by a bilevel device. A Bilevel device provides two prescribed pressures – Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure (IPAP) and Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure EPAP.
Heated Humidification System
Heated Humidification is another critical piece to addressing the comfort equation for CPAP users as well as the overall adherence to therapy1. All manufacturers of CPAP devices now offer some sort of humidification solution, however all humidification systems do not equally perform.
